Unipex Group continues its European expansion by acquiring Belgium’s Codibel Distribution NV/SA
This latest acquisition allows Unipex to reinforce its market coverage in Benelux with a local and well-introduced sales organisation.
Paris (France), March 4, 2009 – Unipex Group is pleased to announce the acquisition of 80% of the outstanding shares of Codibel Distribution NV/SA (Codibel Distribution) located in Zaventem, Belgium.
Codibel Distribution is a privately owned company specialized in the distribution of chemical products and active ingredients for the cosmetic and pharmaceutical markets. Codibel Distribution operates an extended distribution network in Benelux (Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg).
This acquisition enables Unipex Group to extend its global offer to Codibel Distribution’s clients by providing the strategic advantage of a comprehensive solution ranging from active ingredient research and development to manufacturing and marketing, distribution, logistics, and cosmetovigilance services. By acquiring Codibel Distribution, Unipex Group is also increasing its global market coverage in the cosmetic and pharmaceutical industries.
